This role will focus on generating sales growth from our extensive range of Engine Components, Steering & Suspension components & Transmission Components within the automotive and engine wholesale sectors. A tenacious and enthusiastic approach towards winning incremental business with both new and existing customers will quickly develop sales within this sector. Extensive international travel throughout the territory is a key requirement; therefore, this role requires flexibility in terms of travel arrangements. Although working within a distant management system you will become part of a Sales Team and required to work closely with other members of the team.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join our continually expanding international company, working in the Supply Chain Department based in our Swindon Head Office.

As the Supply Chain Planner you will utilize historical sales information and be responsible for calculating required stock levels of all product ranges. Maintaining and improving stock availability. The role involves managing all aspects of stock control, including order processing and replenishment. Primary role is to deliver profitable sales growth and take responsibility for complete management of business activities within area boundaries. This is a demanding role requiring a resilient, tenacious individual that has the ability to thrive in a pressurised role. Ideal candidate will be have several years IAM experience, specifically dealing with key decision maker in automotive factors, buying groups, large multi branch distributors and specialist customers. In addition you will require high levels of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.

General duties will include:

  • Delivery of new sales.
  • Support all company negotiated business agreements.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts providing seamless service between the company and the customer.
