BGA timing chains feature vanadium-enhanced alloy steel, engineered to a higher specification than OE to better withstand the increased loads placed on today’s timing systems, helping reduce wear, minimise elongation and maintain accurate engine timing.
The upgraded material provides greater resistance to fatigue and wear, helping reduce the risk of premature failure while maintaining consistent performance throughout the chain’s service life. Combined with BGA’s Chain Shield Technology, featuring advanced pre-lubrication for reliable first-start protection, the next-generation chain design delivers a stronger, more durable timing solution engineered for the demands of modern engines.
