Head of Purchasing

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Purchasing to lead our logistics, supply chain, and purchasing operations. This strategic role focuses on driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation while ensuring seamless delivery of goods and services aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams to achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Align purchasing decisions with business priorities in collaboration with senior leadership.

Supplier Management:

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and favorable terms.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate suppliers to uphold high standards.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Manage inventory to balance stock levels and working capital.
  • Ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries with logistics partners.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify and address inefficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Higher education in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related fields.
  • Proven senior experience in purchasing, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Strong leadership with a track record of team development.
  • Expertise in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and procurement systems.
  • Problem-solving focus on cost and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
