BGA Receive Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2015

We here at BGA are delighted to have been named as winners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

The Queen’s Awards, made annually by HM The Queen, provide an opportunity to celebrate and encourage excellence in UK business. 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the Awards, with approximately 140 Queen’s Awards being announced for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.

We have received our award for International Trade in recognition of our exceptional export efforts and achieving increased year on year sales figures. Now completing more than six years of international trading, we have shown that we can deliver an exceptional service, meeting and exceeding the demands of our overseas customers.



Managing Director of BGA, Chris Cameron, said: “We are tremendously proud of receiving this prestigious accolade. We have been extremely successful in championing our product overseas by attending various international tradeshows and offering a comprehensive export service. In just six years, we have built up a strong client base located in over 40 countries around the world. I am extremely appreciative of all the efforts from our dedicated Export Sales Team and supporting staff.”

BGA, established in 2001, is a well-known manufacturer and supplier of automotive engine parts and components. As a business, we pride ourselves on providing superior products combined with a quality service both in the UK and abroad. Our approach is highly focused on customer satisfaction, ensuring our relationships continue to blossom in the ever-growing international automotive aftermarket.

Employing over 60 members of full time staff at our head office and warehouse in Swindon, we will continue to grow our product range and look for new international market opportunities. During 2015, we are exhibiting at six international shows in Turkey, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Russia and twice in the USA.

As a winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, BGA can expect an invitation to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace. A crystal bowl will also be presented to symbolise the achievement, which will be presented at BGA’s head office by the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire.

Furthermore, we will have the opportunity to use The Queen’s Award Emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of our quality and success.
